The hand-sewn crocodile leather strap is securely fastened with a Lange prong buckle. Atop the silver dial, the time, date, and moon phase dial are clearly visible. The watch is also applied with solid gold indices and fitted with lance-shaped hands in stainless steel.

Despite the elaborate indications, the A. Lange & Söhne Saxonia Annual Calendar impresses with an overall minimalist design. The timepiece is equipped with a power reserve of 46 hours, made available through the automatic Lange manufacture L085.1. SAX-O-MAT. The swift swinging mechanisms of the movement can be viewed through the clear case back of the watch. Furthermore, the rotor of the movement is created from 18-carat gold and has a platinum centrifugal mass. The mechanism winds the mainspring so that the power reserve of the watch can easily be stored.
