The Breitling Transocean is available in a variety of models so that every watch enthusiast can easily discover their personal favourite. The Transocean line is a tribute to watch design of the ‘50s, and so stylistic elements of this period can be found in each of its models. For example, while the glass of the Transocean is made from solid sapphire, it has consciously been designed in a domed form, which recalls the acrylic crystal of older aviation watches.
Every Transocean watch is water resistant to 100 metres, with the exception of the Transocean Chronograph 1461 (Ref. A1931012) and the Transocean Chronograph QP (Ref. R2931012), which are watertight to 50 metres – still more than enough for everyday wear.
